Bonnie McKenna came to the Newspaper indirectly. She worked
as a flight attendant with Continental Airlines for 34 years
and has experience in flight management. She is also
certified as a master scuba diver trainer.
McKenna entered Kingwood College's news-writing intern class
in January of 2005 and was hired as a stringer in May of
that year. She now serves as a correspondent for The Tribune
covering travel, parks, health and fitness, airport news and
outdoor activities.
McKenna has a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from Wright
State University, a Master of Science in occupational health
and safety from the University of Southern California and
studied at Southwestern School of Law.
McKenna also served in the Peace Corps and was stationed in
Thailand.
