Biography:

Anne is a native Houstonian, life-long Texan and nearly life-long freelance writer. She has been a Kingwood resident for nearly a decade.
In 1994, McIlhany earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in College Station.
She first joined The Tribune back in 2007 as a correspondent, and in June of 2009 she stepped up to serve as managing editor.
"I am honored to serve our community, and consider it a privilege to be a part of The Tribune team,” said McIlhany. “Every day is a new adventure and I never know who I will meet, or what I will discover next. I love the history, people and places of this area, and my commitment is to bring that enjoyment to my work.”
