Kingwood High School sophomore, Chris Hsu, was the champion of the USTA Championship Major Zone tennis tournament held in College Station Jan. 9 -10. The cold weather did not deter Chris from fighting back from six match points down in his semifinal match. Hsu went on to win the finals, qualifying for the USTA Texas Super Championship division, the highest level of junior competition in the state. Hsu trains with long time coach, Carlos Quijano, and plays on the KHS varsity tennis team.
