Patrols from Boy Scout Troop 1922 demonstrate first aid and emergency preparedness.

No one expects an emergency or wants to need first aid, but dozens of Boy Scouts from Troop 1922, chartered by Lakeside United Methodist Church, recently spent a Saturday planning for the unexpected. Patrols competed by responding to six scenarios that required their first aid and emergency preparedness. Troop patrols will next compete in the Sam Houston Area Council competition. Scoutmaster Scot Davenport says he is confident his scouts are first-aid ready and prepared for emergencies but hopes it’s never necessary. Good work, Scouts.
