Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program invites senior adults 50 years of age and better to participate in free activities during Senior Health and Fitness Week Monday, April 30, to Friday, May 4. Activities take place at various locations throughout the precinct to promote healthy lifestyles for senior adults at any fitness level. - Bowling at Max Bowl in Humble. Monday, April 30, at 11:30 a.m. Lunch is provided. Transportation is available at 10:45 from the Kingwood Community Center, 4102 Rustic Woods Dr.
- Scavenger Hunt in the Park at Big Stone Lodge. Tuesday, May 1, at 9 a.m. Join staff naturalists for a scavenger hunt along the Spring Creek Greenway. Call 281-350-1029 to register.
- Senior Health and Wellness Fair at CHI St. Luke’s Health-The Vintage. Tuesday, May 1, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. CHI St. Luke’s offers health screenings and question-and-answer sessions with doctors from various specialties. Join the group for a tour of the walking paths. Lunch is provided by CHI St. Luke’s Health-The Vintage. Transportation is provided at 10:30 a.m. from the Humble Civic Center, 8233 Will Clayton Pkwy.
- Archery Lessons at Spring Creek Park. Wednesday, May 2, from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Archery equipment and lunch is provided. Transportation is provided at 8:15 a.m. from the Kingwood Community Center, 4102 Rustic Woods Dr.
- Laughter Yoga at Big Stone Lodge. Wednesday, May 2, at 1 p.m. Join Houston Laughter Yoga Founder and Instructor Lainie Diamond for a stress-reducing therapy that requires no yoga mats or on-the-floor exercises. Call 281-350-1029 to register.
- Senior Health and Fitness Showcase at Mangum-Howell Center. Wednesday, May 2, at 10 a.m. Get back on the path to an active, healthy lifestyle with this half-day program. Call 281-591-7830 to register. Activities include the following:
