Huffman ISD students of all ages are busy finishing up Rodeo Art entries. For many years, the school has participated in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo School Art Program and this year is no exception. Participants range from Pre-K through 12th grade. The program is designed to encourage the education and appreciation of our Western heritage. Students create Western-themed art entries that include paintings, drawings and sculpture.

This year’s district Rodeo Art Show & Open House theme is “Home On The Range.” The event is scheduled for Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Huffman Elementary School, room 319. All family members and friends can celebrate these winning works along with the student artists. Winning entries will be on display at Reliant Center.

Hargrave High School students prepare art entries for the 2019 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art contest.
