The Kingwood/Humble Area Aggie Moms Club is pleased to announce its 2019 scholarship winners. The club has selected 17 high school seniors from seven local area high schools to receive scholarships at Texas A&M University as freshman students this fall. Congratulations to these members of the Texas A&M Class of 2023.

Each year, the KH Aggie Moms scholarship is available to area high school seniors who have been accepted to Texas A&M (College Station or Galveston) for the summer or fall semester.

Kingwood/Humble Area Aggie Moms Club is one of more than 100 Texas A&M University Mothers’ Clubs nationwide. The clubs are organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. The club sells boutique items at their monthly meetings and at Aggie Parents’ Weekend in April, and does other fundraising to raise thousands of dollars for deserving students and Aggie student organizations. Their biggest fundraiser each year is the Singing Cadets concert, to be held January 3, 2020.

Later this summer, Kingwood Humble Aggie Moms will host the annual Howdy Party, Sunday, July 28 from 3-5 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Kingwood, 3500 Woodland Hills Drive. The club welcomes all new and returning TAMU students and family members. Even if students cannot make it, the club invites their Aggie moms and dads to join in the fun and festivities. There will be a special Howdy bag for each student, and the club will be selling boutique items and has a silent auction at the event. There will be door prizes given to lucky winners, and Aggie moms always have snacks. Special guests will be the Yell Leaders, Maroon Coats and Singing Cadets.

Membership to Kingwood Humble Aggie Moms is open to any mother or guardian of a current or former Texas A&M student (Galveston or College Station). The club is recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization.
