On Jan. 17, deputies with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 8100 block of Whirlaway Elm Drive in reference to suspicious males possibly breaking into vehicles. Upon arrival, they located and detained two males who were identified as juveniles. They were found to be in possession of a loaded handgun and property that was just stolen from several vehicles in the area. The stolen property was returned to the owners and the handgun was collected as evidence. Both juveniles were arrested and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center. One juvenile was charged with burglary of a motor vehicle and the other with burglary of a motor vehicle and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
