Biography
A native of L.A., Calif., Johnnie was transplanted to the
more fertile soil here in Humble, Texas, at the age of 14.
He graduated from Humble High in '86. Many of his family
members own a business in the Humble, Kingwood or the
Atascocita area.
"Me, well, I ended up on TV and Radio for over 20 years. My air name is Johnnie Ray and the last morning show I hosted was the Q-Morning Zoo on 93Q until about two years ago when I was allowed to test my skills as Director of the Humble Civic Center and Arena Complex," says Johnnie.
He says that he loves his job at the Civic Center and finds
it challenging.
Johnnie also does a radio show on K-Hits 107.5 on Sunday
afternoons 2 - 7 p.m. His other hobbies include doing radio
and television voiceovers, on-camera work and acting. He and
his wife, Tina, have been married for over 19 years and have
three children -- daughters Taylor and Lara, and son, Aaron
-- as well as a plethora of pets: two cats, a dog and a
bird.
"The area has been growing so much and I find it exciting to
be a part of it all. Thank you so much for letting me share
a part of my life and perspective with you every week!"
