In the 23rd minute, senior Amanda Poppell slipped a ball through the defensive line to sophomore Colleen Feagins who placed it past the Lady Falcon goalkeeper. This goal sparked the Lady Mustangs and allowed them to take control of the score board quickly.
In the 28th minute, junior Fiona Zimmerman found sophomore Isabel Shanahan with a pass that she was able to get past the goalkeeper. Then just six minutes later, Fiona found senior Nikki Brown with a similar ball that Nikki was able to put into the back of the net, bringing the halftime score 3 to 0.
In the second half, the game was very similar with the Lady Mustangs holding on to the lead and all of the possession. Senior Hannah Bodron stepped up and blasted it past the goalkeeper, thus bringing the score to 4 to 0. Only 8 minutes later, Isabel Shanahan was able to dribble through multiple defenders and find the back of the net.

Then only 4 minutes later junior Abby Anderson crossed a ball to senior NIkki Brown who tapped it past the goalkeeper only 5 yards from goal.
The last goal of the game was scored by sophomore Sarah Schumacher (also her first of the season) in the 20th minute. Junior Alison Kim crossed a ball into the box that was deflected right away and directly onto Sarah's foot. She looked up and noticed the goalkeeper was out of position and smashed a long distance shot into the back corner of the goal, bringing the final score to 6 to 0.
