Kingwood Dance Theatre presents 'Cinderella'

Kingwood Dance Theatre invites the public to attend a “Cinderella Storybook Ballet.” The ballet is choreographed by Sheryl Rowland, Kelly Agnew, Trish King and Mary Hayes to the music of the Strauss family.

Board candidate asks supporters to give campaign donations to charity

Kingwood resident and candidate for the Humble ISD board, Bob Rehak, has decided to direct all campaign donations to Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM), an unprecedented move by any local candidate.

“Just call me Jeremy,” is his request to church members and community alike.  Dr. Jeremy Evans, a native Texan, became the new senior pastor at Woodridge Baptist Church in Kingwood Jan. 1.

“It seemed like a great day to start,” said Evans.

Humble ISD candidates draw ballot spots

A drawing was held at the Humble ISD Administration Building Feb. 27 to determine the order in which the board of trustees candidate names will be printed on the May ballot. Candidates officially filed as of Feb. 17 for the May 6 election.
