One concerned district parent, Scott Hutchins, spoke to the board in public comment addressing a possible oversight in the district's proposed re-zoning initiative.

- Written by Gabe Henderson
The Atascocita Eagles suffered a fatal blow to their state championship aspirations at the hands of Lake Travis, falling one game short of the 6A Division I state title game.
After last week’s overtime win in a thriller against North Shore, Atascocita traveled to San Antonio to square off against the Region IV champion, Lake Travis. Lake Travis and Atascocita met in the Alamodome on Saturday afternoon and to the surprise of many, the game was a relatively one-sided affair. Lake Travis defeated the Eagles 63-21 to advance to the 6A-DI state championship where they will play The Woodlands on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 8 p.m.
