San Jacinto Bridge repair ready to begin

Repairs to the San Jacinto River bridge will begin within days. Southbound lanes will shift to some northbound lanes and the work is expected to take four to six months.

Wildcats receive numerous awards after undefeated district season

In a year where the Humble Wildcats’ boys basketball program completed a silver anniversary of playoff appearances, making the streak 25 straight years, the program also had an undefeated district season and playoff run that resulted in numerous All-District awards.

Singer Michael Hix to bring ‘soul’ March 24 to The Bender

Not many singers can hit the low notes and the high notes, but Michael Hix can.

Hix will once again demonstrate his unique ability to sing low baritone and high soprano, a four-octave voice range, Saturday, March 24, at 7 p.m. when he returns to The Bender Performing Arts Center in Humble. Tickets are $15.
