The Kingwood Garden Club recently announced the dates for their Spring Home and Garden Tour. On April 26, 27 and 28, 2019, the community and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to tour four lovely homes and one outstanding Japanese garden. The tour will feature two homes that were devastated by the August 2017 flooding and will give attendees the opportunity to see how Kingwood has rebuilt homes and businesses. Tour hours will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27, and from 12 p.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 28.

The club, which is celebrating their 45th anniversary, holds the Home and Garden Tour every other year but had to cancel last year due to the flooding and to allow time for the area to recover. Attendees will not be disappointed as they tour lovely homes and gardens that have been carefully selected by garden club members.

Cathy Owen and Linda Odell are co-chairmen for the 2019 event. Tickets will be on sale in February from garden club members and at selected garden centers.
