Cooking Thyme and More!

Cooking Thyme: Hummus Two Ways

Wednesday, Jan.15, from 10 to 11 a.m.

Children will explore fresh food with all five senses during the Cooking Thyme program at Mercer Botanic Gardens. They will learn the connections between plants and how to cook them. This free, hands-on opportunity equips children with the knowledge to make healthy food choices by allowing them to prepare and taste garden-fresh foods. Recipes are subject to change based on the availability of seasonal fruits and vegetables from Mercer’s Vegetable Garden. Volunteer opportunities are available. This program is for children ages 9 to 11. A parent or guardian must accompany children. Registration is required, and space is limited
