Leadership Lake Houston Alumni raised $16,000 for 10 Lake Houston area nonprofits during their inaugural one-week “Come Back Stronger” campaign.

Leadership Lake Houston alumni, led by Chair Deborah Rose Miller, launched the campaign Aug. 3 to support local nonprofits who have experienced a negative impact from COVID-19. The LLH alumni’s aim was to drive awareness and bolster revenues for non profits by utilizing the LLH alumni network during a six-day period from Aug. 3-8.

The nonprofits who benefited were Addi’s Faith Foundation, Family Promise, FamilyTime, HAAM, Humble ISD Education Foundation, Including Kids, In the Pink, Mission Northeast, the Village Center and the Lake Houston YMCA.

The original goal for this one-week campaign was $5,000 — LLH alumni more than tripled their goal, truly beginning to “Come Back Stronger.”
