– JPD Entertainment signs onto ‘Houston Radio Platinum’ –
Houston Radio Platinum started in May of 2019 and features the best soft rock of the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s. They are offering listeners something different that they can’t get anywhere else.
Joseph Kovacik, owner and president of Humble-based DJ Brothers, launched a new morning show with Houston radio legend Johnny Goyen.
Goyen is no stranger to the Houston radio market. He spent time on KFMK, KRBE, KYOK and KIKK in Houston. Join Goyen from 6-10 a.m. seven days a week on houstonradioplatinum.com.
“We are thrilled to have Johnny as part of our team. He’s a perfect fit, and we look forward to what he has to offer our online station,” said Kovacik. In November, Goyen will be inducted into the Texas Radio Hall Of Fame in Kilgore.
Every Sunday night, the station features the best songs of the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s on “Solid Gold Sunday” with Andy Waldrop. Waldrop is a familiar voice on Houston radio. He has been heard on KSHN, KIKK and KSBJ and when helping listeners navigate the Houston freeways on traffic services throughout Houston.
“Andy’s show has such an awesome following of people … and it’s a perfect fit on our station,” said Kovacik. Join Waldrop every Sunday night from 6-9 p.m. on houstonradioplatinum.com.
“We offer our own love songs show. Every night from 8-midnight, we play your classic love songs from the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s with Barry. Barry takes your requests and dedications. Check out Barry’s page on our website,” said Kovacik.
Listeners can stream the station directly from the website or download the radio.net app and search for houstonradioplatinum.com.
