Jumpalooza Hangout, located at Timber Forest and FM 1960 in Atascocita, held a ribbon cutting Feb. 1 to celebrate the grand opening of their new gaming center, the first of its kind for the area. Full of high-powered, neon-lit gaming PCs loaded with the most popular games along with PS4s, XBoxs, Nintendo Switches and even a few old-school consoles, The Hideout is a place to hangout for kids of all ages.

Angie Braun purchased Jumpalooza, an indoor inflatables playground, in 2017, but as the mom of an introverted gamer, she noticed that as her son became more involved in eSports at his local high school, he found a rewarding social group. She stated, “I realized that there is an entire group of kids out there, many of whom didn’t grow up playing sports, that have missed out on so many of the social benefits sporting provides – team members fighting for common goals, competition, losing (or winning) gracefully and overall, having a friend group who have common interests. Thus, the Hideout was born.” The Hideout seats 25-30 people and is available both for hourly gaming and party rentals. It’s open daily, including evenings, allowing adults to grab a few friends, get a babysitter and have some fun of their own. Jumpalooza is located at 5366 FM 1960 in Atascocita.
