Loving Houston has helped create 100 church-school partnerships across Greater Houston. The nonprofit celebrated the milestone, and honored church and school leaders at a luncheon, hosted by Chapelwood United Methodist Church. Calvary Christian Fellowship and Kingwood Park High School is the 100th church-school partnership.

Dr. Ruth Lopez Turley, founding director of Rice University’s Houston Education Research Consortium was the keynote speaker. As an esteemed sociologist, Dr. Turley shared about the value of church-school partnerships and the impact on our students. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session that included the challenges and solutions faced by leaders of church-school partnerships.Learn more at lovinghouston.net/willyoubelieve.
