The Summer Creek High School Choir Booster Club have presented their annual scholarship recipients. All scholarship applications are rated anonymously by various teachers at SCHS. The recipients were announced in May at the annual Choir Banquet held at the Golf Club of Houston Clubhouse in Fall Creek. To begin, the SCHS Choir Booster Club awarded $750 each to graduating seniors to help pay college expenses. Recipients of the College Scholarship Award were Isabel Alvarado, Auria Flores, and Caroline Liu.
In addition, the SCHS Choir Booster Club also awards Voice Lesson Scholarships to help students afford voice lessons throughout the school year. For this coming school year, the following students were awarded voice lesson scholarships: Presto-Kaylie Lyle, Allegro-Chloe Lewis, Andante-Hennesie Laureano, Andante-November Lee, and Andante-Anabel Avila. They all take voice lessons from Erin Thompson, a local voice teacher.
