Talented vocalists are invited to audition for the Kingwood Chorale’s 29th season.
The Kingwood Chorale has select openings for all voice parts. Experienced singers who read music are encouraged to set up a one-on-one audition or attend the open audition on Monday, Aug. 21 from 4-6 p.m. in Lone Star College-Kingwood’s Music Instructional Building (MUS).
“This is a unique ensemble made up of music students, local music teachers and dedicated community members who all come together to sing the masterworks of choral repertoire,” said Dr. Todd Miller, conductor.
The Kingwood Chorale is an 80-voice chorus in residence at LSC-Kingwood. The group rehearses on Monday nights at 7 p.m. in the college’s MUS Building. The chorale’s fall repertoire includes the Duruflé “Requiem” and the Poulenc “Gloria” on Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Kingwood.
