Dr. Nika Elizabeth Harmon and Mr. Larry Brusatori were united in marriage on Saturday, May 19, 2007, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Houston. The double-ring candlelit ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Terry Jay Thompson. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at Colombe d'Or Mansion. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Brennan's of Houston. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harmon, of Houston. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Delores Patton and the late Carlos Patton, of Jackson, Michigan. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Brusatori, of Kingwood. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Brusatori, of Sutter Creek, Calif. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore and elegant duchess silk satin strapless gown by Watters and Watters in eggshell with a fitted, elongated, draped bodice and trumpet skirt ending in a semi-chapel train. The bridesmaids wore tea-length gowns of wine iridescent taffeta. Calla lilies in deep wine and ivory were the focal point of flowers for the wedding party. Nika is an Emergency Department physician at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital in Houston. Larry is a project manager for Centennial Contractors Enterprises Inc., of Houston.
