Did you know? Humble ISD expects approximately 42,000 students by October 2017. Humble ISD operates and maintains 269 school buses which transport nearly 13,000 students daily, traveling more than 2.8 million miles a year. The Humble ISD Transportation Department was recognized as one of the Top 100 Fleets in North America for the third consecutive year. Every day Humble ISD cafeterias serve 30,000 meals. That’s nearly six million meals served throughout the year to students, staff and guests. Humble ISD Child Nutrition Services is an award-winning department operating under the guidelines of the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program to provide students with nutritious meals at affordable or no cost, yet the department is completely self-funded. More than $22 million in scholarships were offered to the 2,956 graduates in the Humble ISD Class of 2017. More than 16,701 college credits were earned by students through Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, International Baccalaureate and Early College courses, and 70 students in Quest Early College High School’s Class of 2017 earned their college associate’s degree in addition to their high school diploma.
