The FBI Violent Crime Task Force needs the public’s help identifying and locating the man who robbed a Kingwood bank earlier today.
Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the bank robber.
The robbery occurred at approximately 9:17 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at the Woodforest National Bank inside Walmart located at 2165 North Park Drive in Kingwood, TX.
The suspect entered the bank, exchanged pleasantries with the teller, and handed the teller a note demanding cash and threatening that he had a firearm. The suspect fled on foot. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late forties to early fifties, approximately 5’10” tall, with a thin build and thinning black hair. The suspect wore a distinct striped shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, dark sunglasses with a gray tint, and a silver chain necklace.
