Three teens who are accused in the shooting death of an 18-year-old Kingwood man last weekend are behind bars. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday, March 7, that Isaiah Parker, 18, of Kingwood, 17-year-old Jorge Ramirez of Porter, and a juvenile had been arrested for the murder of Tristan Maddux.
Parker was arrested in The Colony, Texas, near Dallas by Texas Rangers and was taken to the Denton County Jail where he was charged with murder. He is awaiting extradition to Montgomery County, according to a press release.
Ramirez was arrested March 6 at his home and is charged with aggravated robbery. He is being held without bond and also has an ICE detainer, officials said.
Police said they also arrested a juvenile and charged that person with murder. The juvenile is in the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility.
Residents of the Summer Hills Subdivision discovered Maddux’s body in a ditch in the 18800 block of Hill Road March 3. Investigators said Maddux had been shot multiple times, and his body left in the ditch.
Maddux, a teenager who was reported missing by his family Saturday, March 2, was found dead by deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office after they were called at about 9:50 a.m. to the 18800 block of Hill Road near the Summer Hills Subdivision after residents walking nearby found a man’s body in a ditch.
Deputies arrived and determined that the man, identified as Tristan Maddux, had been shot at that location and his body left in the ditch.
Maddux had been reported missing by his family to Houston Police. The body was taken to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for an autopsy.
