OLD MACDONALD’S FARM

HUFFMAN PUMPKIN PATCH

Lake Houston United Methodist Church, 23606 FM 2100, Huffman, will present its Pumpkin Patch with more than 1,000 pumpkins Monday, Oct. 7-Thursday, Oct. 31. SPOOKY SOIREE COSTUME DANCE

Precinct 4 Encore! invites everyone 50 or older to enjoy live music from the Bayou City Playboys Wednesday, Oct. 23, from noon-3 p.m., at the Humble Civic Center, 8233 Will Clayton Pkwy., Humble. FALL FESTIVAL

The public is invited to the Fall Festival Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 4:30-7 p.m., at the Creative Learning Center, Atascocita Presbyterian Church, 19426 Atasca Oaks Drive, Humble. Activities will include face painting, games, balloon artist, bounce house, hayride, raffle and silent auction. Family tickets are $10. East Montgomery County Improvement District will present its annual Fall Extravaganza Thursday, Oct. 24, from 5-8 p.m., at the EMCID Complex Building, 21575 U.S. Hwy. 59, New Caney. Kids in spooky, silly or scary costumes are encouraged to enter the costume contest, trick or treat for candy, play games and enjoy carnival rides. The public is invited and admission is free.

5K HALLOWEEN FUN RUN/1K TRICK-OR-TREAT WALK

The Knights of Columbus Council 6878 will host a Fun Run/Trick-or-Treat Walk Saturday, Oct. 26, at McGivney Hall, 110 Isaacks St., Humble. Registration begins at 8 a.m. (fee $5). Race begins at 9 a.m. The Trick-or-Treat Walk will begin at 9:15 a.m. There is no registration or fee; there will be five stations for all children in costume along St. Mary Magdalene campus. All must be accompanied by an adult. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes.

 

ZOMBIE FUN RUN 5K

Atascocita High School will host its Annual Zombie 5K Run Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m.-noon, at Atascocita High School, 13300 Will Clayton Pkwy., Humble. The race benefits the Atascocita High School Marine Corps JROTC program and is staffed by cadets, with some help from instructors and parent volunteers. The AHS drama department makes the cadets up very convincingly as zombies, and zombies are scattered throughout the course. There will be vendors, music and a free Trick or Treat Trail.
