• Kingwood Medical Center is proud to announce their first baby of 2009. Man Ya Hsieh and Ezra Poon welcomed their second child, Elah Tian ai Poon, at 12:04 a.m., Jan. 1, 2009. Elah weighed 7-pounds. 9-ounces and was 20 inches long. She joins her older brother, Enoch, 23 months, at home. Angel was born at 12:18 a.m., weighed in at 6-pounds, 1-ounce and was 18 inches in length. Carol Anne Voltmann and Barbara Cordray presented a silver engraved baby cup, a $250 gift certificate to Toys R Us and a crocheted blanket handmade by a Northeast volunteer to Angel and his proud parents. The family also received a special gift basket donated by Babies R Us in Humble.
