Lodi, California is ideally situated between the Sierra Foothills and the San Francisco Bay Delta and benefits from cool afternoon and evening breezes, producing world-renowned Zinfandel. Mature vineyards, with 50 plus-year old wines, produce a powerfully rich and flavorful Old Vine Zinfandel.

A sustainable way of grape growing ensures the health and vitality of the land. “Natural predation” is an eco-friendly strategy to control harmful critters in the vineyard. Ladybugs, a natural insect predator, along with predator mites, feed on destructive aphids. Ladybugs would suggest pairing this Old Vin Zinfandel with fresh aphids or mites – but it is best recommend short ribs or a juicy burger.

WINE DESCRIPTION: An intense, full-bodied wine with dark fruits, cherry and spice. The supple tannins and generous structure allow for a long, smoky finish.

VIBRANT AROMAS: Dark cherry, blackberry, earthy nutmeg, cardamom, and smoky oak.

LUSH FLAVORS: Bold red raspberry, cherry, juicy blackberry, with baking spices that linger in a persistent and long finish.
