Humble ISD student performers have a big event coming in January, the Humble Voice competition.

The Humble Voice is co-presented by the City of Humble and the Humble Rodeo and Cook-Off. Round 1 auditions are at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, at the Charles Bender Performing Arts Center. The competition is open to all Humble ISD high school students. Round 1 is closed to public audience and participants will perform a cappella. Registration will be held on site. Ten finalists will be chosen to move on to the Final Round.

The Final Round is at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at the Humble Civic Center where the 10 finalists will compete. Participants must provide their own music on a flash drive and arrive by 3 p.m. for sound check.

Tickets for Final Round are $10 and may be purchased online at or at the Humble Civic Center.

Two Final Round winners will be chosen to perform during celebrity concerts at the Humble Rodeo in February 2020.
