On Saturday, Nov. 16, the Lake Houston Lightning Lacrosse (LHLL) hosted their first ever inaugural Fall Brawl event at Atascocita Community Church, seeing a positive response from the community as hundreds gathered to watch talented young female lacrosse players from various organizations display their skills through a variety of scrimmages and practices.

The last time the Atascocita Eagles football team made the Texas high school state semifinals, the year was 2016 and North Shore was the regional final opponent.

In the Class 6A Division II bracket, the Humble Wildcats saw a magical season come to an end as they fell to Katy Taylor 35-14 in their third-round matchup.

After dropping the season opener, the Kingwood boys’ basketball team recently reeled off three consecutive victories, including a pair of wins heading into last week’s tournament in Arlington.

Kingwood: After dropping a pair of two-point games this season, the Kingwood girls’ basketball team found a way to turn that around last week, holding off Crosby, 39-38, to improve to 2-8 for the season.

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving at NRG Stadium, two schools from Humble ISD, an old face to the playoffs and a new face, will meet two different Katy-area schools with the hope of moving within one game of the state tournament.
